Helen M. Morgan (nee Rousseau), 88, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2017, at Cedarcrest Manor in Washington. Helen was born on January 18, 1929, to the late Francis and Henrietta (nee Klump) Rousseau in Perryville, Missouri. She was united in marriage to the late Robert “Ray” Morgan on Sept. 11, 1948, at St. Mary's of the Barrens Church in Perryville. Helen and Ray enjoyed square dancing and playing cards for years, both in the Washington area as part of the Buttons and Bows Square Dancing Club, and at their winter home in Texas. Helen was an avid gardener, water skier, and loved doing ceramics. She adored spending time with her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.


A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2017, from 9 am to 10:30 am at Miller Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be held at 11 am on Saturday, November 4, at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church, interment will follow in the Church cemetery. Memorial donations are appreciated to St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church.


Helen is survived by seven children, Dennis Morgan and wife Sandra of Texas, Mary Morgan of Webster Groves, Randy Morgan and wife Christine of Lake St. Louis, Keith Morgan and wife Mary of Dutzow, Victor Morgan and wife Beth of Lake Ozark, Missouri, Colleen Morgan of Frontenac, and Tim Morgan and wife Ann of Washington; two siblings, Dorothy Genco and husband Ernest Genco, DDS and Robert Rousseau and wife Carol of Perryville; twenty grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; other relatives, and friends.


She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and five siblings, Hubert, Marie, Merlin, Lester, and Clyde.
